Suspended track lighting is very simply an alternative to mounting track directly to the ceiling. In this case, track is suspended from ceiling-fixed wires to bring light down to the required level.
Pendant lights are usually suspended using a simple chain or cord, and one hanging light at their terminal ends. The pendant light may have a few lights, but the suspension remains the same.
